Lindsey Pever is an attorney and partner at A New Energy, having become its first full-time employee in 2018 after joining the team as an intern in 2016. Her practice involves guiding clients through their complex legal, regulatory, and public policy issues, with a focus on renewable energy, public utilities, emerging technologies, and land use. Lindsey represents developers of renewable energy, hydrogen, electric transmission, gas pipelines, and telecommunications. Much of her practice takes place before state agencies including the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and she also advises clients on issues related to the SPP. Lindsey is a founding member and Past President of the Oklahoma Solar Association, where she and a team of advocates work to advance solar energy. Lindsey is passionate about solar, and also represents landowners in solar agreements, zoning, and land use issues.

Prior to law school, Lindsey was the Director of Development for Arts Council Oklahoma City for nearly a decade, where she helped shepherd significant positive changes such as major increases to contributed income, and efforts that resulted in the annual Oklahoma City event Festival of the Arts, becoming one of the largest zero-waste events in the country. Earlier in her career, she was a campaign manager for a state Senate campaign and worked in government relations and lobbying at the Oklahoma State Capitol. Lindsey earned her J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law where she was on the Dean’s List, and her B.A. in English from the University of Oklahoma.

Lindsey is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City’s Signature and LOYAL Programs, is the Past Chair of the OCU Law Alumni Association, serves as President of the board for her neighborhood association, as a Legal Advisor to the Norman Area Land Conservancy, a Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Oklahoma City, and as the Ward 2 Appointee and Vice Chair of the City of Oklahoma City’s Bond Advisory Committee. Lindsey and her family live in Oklahoma City.
